Need help building wooden "flower" boxes for around large trees...design ideas and hints please!?
I have landscape timbers and need helpful & maybe unique ideas on how to build these boxes to hide the ugly roots around my trees and make them look nice.
I dont really know if its a good idea...
Your roots are "use" to being exposed. If you cover them, that "may" start root rot!
I would contact a arborist or greenhouse that specializes in trees before making anything that will cover those roots up, and with the box, I assume that its going to bring earth up against the tree a few feet up, so that it may promote bacterial growth and kill the tree.
