I have a scanned invitation in HP office Scan with clip art, I added verbage to MSWord and need to merge?
I am trying to make the inviation for my daughters graduation party but I don't know how to get the clip art I want on the Word document (or visa versa). I am trying to print the invitations on a landscape page as 2 invitations that will fit on a 8 1/2" x 11" (2 invitations per landscape page) cardstock paper. I can't afford to have these printed at the stationery shop. Can anyone help if I email the two documents/items to them?
Thank you.
i think you have the right idea, by setting up the page length wise, then create two columns,
http://www.its.monash.edu.au/staff/web/slideshows/accessibility-pdfformat/word-columns.gif
then insert two images with text in image, or insert text first, then place clip art,
http://www.southalabama.edu/oll/job-aids/create_ink_in_word/link%20i6.jpg
then double click on image or from menu select picture editor, to chose options for alignment of text around images,
http://chalksoft.com/school/word7/graphics/graphics.html check new/ templates as well if any are pre-made, view print preview before printing to verify actual placement of designs, and do test print on paper,
another option is to use an illustrator program like inkscape, and make the whole layout
http://www.inkscape.org/
or create both invitations in photo editor like photoshop, or gimp, using layers for images and text separately,
