How to make ends meet?

Im a 2008 HS graduate who cant afford college. I always got good grades in challenging classes and am a hard worker with experience in Remodeling houses, landscaping and worked last summer full time for kitsap county public works.

I am working for a local landscaper and a country club part time. I have been looking for a full time $11+ job.

Does anybody have any suggestions on who is Hiring full time? with the economy going in the dumps right now I am scared sh**less about how I am going to support myself because Even though my parents have decent jobs right now I feel like a loser who is just mooching off them. any suggestions on where to find a job could help me nd give me some hope.

i mooched off my parents off and on throughout college and even for a year after college. And this was in the 90s when the economy was supposedly "booming".
So, at your age, I wouldn't worry too much about "mooching".

If you can't go to college, I would try to focus like a beam on a specific, valuable skill. Even if this skill requires some classwork (such as a skilled trade). All skilled trades pay well, but require a little classwork, and a lot of hands-on work. you won't get paid that well at first, but eventually, you'll probably make more money than most college graduates. I know this because all my friends who got a skilled trade career make more money than me, and I was a Mechanical Engineer with a bachelor of science degree. It got me nowhere fast.
I wish i would have been a skilled tradesman making 120,000 bucks and doing jobs on the side making even MORE money. Thats the ultimate goal. Open your own business on the side, and then work up to full time and quit the employee job eventually to be your own boss, and you'll have it made.

Skilled trades can be plumber, mason, electrician, welder, iron worker, carpenter, operating engineer, etc etc
