Does anybody have a good and inexpensive ideas to border the flower and shrubs?
I am interested in re doing the landscape of a home I just purchased. The current border around the beds is red recycled brick. I want to replace it with something that is a little easier to manage. The problem is when I use the lawn mower hit some of the bricks and they move. My wife suggested remove the bricks and use nothing. I don't like this because when use the string trimmer the cut grass ends up in the beds.
Hey Dr. Care. My brother is a doctor. What I used is a metal edging that I purchased at Home Depot. It was very easy to install. I just used a block of wood and a hammer and drove it into the ground, putting the block on-top and hitting it to not mess up the edging. It is now 8 years old and is in just as good a shape as when I put it in. .It is also much easier to install than that flimsy plastic stuff. I hope this helps.
