what is the best way to advertise a small landscape company?
I need to do this cheap. Can i hand out flyer's in town? to advertise locally its expensive.
Talk to local contractors, painters, etc. in your area who don't compete with what you do and offer to refer them if they refer you. Trade business cards and perhaps you ask them to hand out your flyers to their customers. You could even offer them a referral fee to motivate them. Talk to your local library about doing a presentation for home owners on current landscaping topics (how to get your yard ready for the fall, how to plant bulbs and transplant flowers in the fall). While many people might go as DIYers, others might realize how nice it would be to hire someone else to do it. Offer a discount to people who attend.
