Can I Haul Furniture With a Landscape Utility Trailer.?
I would like to pull a trailer about a thousand miles, loaded with furniture. I'd say about a 5 X 8 foot trailer. Would a landscaper's flatbed trailer work for this kind of haul? I would limit to about a thousand pound load.
If you can fasten the load securely and not worry about the elements during the journey, there is no reason that it will not work/. A tarp securely fastened down from the front of the trailer (best to have the front end of the tarp tucked under the load so the wind will not catch it and become a wind sail during the transit.) would help with the elements. The authorities frown on loosely piled furniture and other household items on trailers or trucks so make sure that you have that problem looked after. I see no reason why it will not work
