A Flat Landscape

Galloping over
a flat landscape
of high grass.
My steed gathered her muscles
and increased her speed.
Something ahead -
her eyes and ears forward.
She tensed, then soared.
I hung on and roared.
What a jump -
over a drainage ditch -
hidden by high grasses -
on a flat landscape ♥
