How to "shop" around for that someone?
I am 20 years old.. I started a landscaping company at 15 and have been very successful, but it has taken a lot of hard work. I just ended a 2.5 year very serious relationship. We loved each other a lot, had been engaged for a year and a half. We moved in together in our final 9 months and our last 6 months she began working second shift and I was in bed before she got home so a lot of miscommunication and wrong assumptions killed our relationship. I have been single for 2 months. While in high school I was never very sociable or had many friends. I am slowly working on my college degree taking classes online. So how do I meet people, make new friends, be secretly looking for someone to hopefully enter a serious relationship? I still have very few friends, most of them are quite older which anyone new I met, usually prospect clients believe I am in my mid twenties or older. I want to find someone a bit older or someone on my same maturity level but where do I start??????
Im sorry, I know how you feel. I was in one relationship for about 4 years when my ex dropped the bomb on me. It was terrible, he had all the friends and i had no one. I know that taking college classes online is much easier for you, ( i take them as well), but if you really wanna meet new people, your gonna have to actually show up to these classes in person. Your not gonna meet anyone in the virtual world. I totally know how you feel. I dont have alot of friends either. I do though take some classes online and some in school, that way maybe i can meet some new people or re-unite with some old friends from high school. Finding a new partner is very hard in this day and age, I know from personal experience. You think its hard trying to find a girl, theres girls everywhere...think about how hard it is for a girl like me to find a nice guy out here. Its very hard. Get out there and dont have any expectations, mingle with people and when you least expect it, you'll meet someone.good luck.
