Microsoft word page border; i got the page on A3 landscape and on print preview it misses the left line?
why?
and how can i make it show up when i print?
also, i've tried making the width from the edge of the page and the line bigger but it still doesn't work.
i'm not drawing it on once i've printed it because it's my coursework and i want it to look good!
it is A3 because that's the size paper our project has to be.
and i've realized that it is the printer settings + how do you change them?
Firstly, my question has to be why A3? Have you got an A3 printer? Even though your margins on the actual document may be set correctly, it may be that the printer settings need correcting. If you really cannot get the border to print out using the page border set up, I suggest you remove that and instead encase your text in a table - just one row one column. This will immediately size itself widthways to fill the page and then all you need do is to right button of mouse down to table properties, row, and make the height the size of the page. So, if you truly are A3 landscape, and have a margin of 2.54 (1") all round, your typing height would be 42cm less 5cm for margins, i.e. 37 cm. Then all you need do is to centre your text both horizontally and vertically within the table - right button of mouse, cell alignment. Hope this helps.
