What do i have to be good in to be an Landscape Architect?
ok so im not good in drawing but i do know how to use the computer to make drawing.....what shoudl i know like...do i have to be good Biology??
or should i become a Architect?
There are a lot of parts to being a good Landscape Designer. First, you need to know landscaping and plant care. When you paint a picture you use many different colors, in landscape design, plants are your color palate. Because plants are your palate, you need to know everything about them like what soil they like, how much sunlight they need, how big they get, what type of care do they need, and when or if they flower. The actual drawing is not as necessary as you can do it on the computer, but you must be able to see it in your mind first, the computer cant do that.
If you think you might like it, start small, re-design your own garden or design one you would like. Like i said, its like painting a picture, the landscape should work together and compliment itself. start learning more about plants and see where that takes you.
