What do you think about Alabama?
For those of you who have been through our great state. What do you think of it? Are the people nice? Are the landscapes pretty? I love it here and have heard alot of people say the same. Just curious what other people think about it? Thanks!
Alot of people do think about it being Hicktown or Redneck. In some ways I am sure it is. But I think every state has it's small towns and Rednecks. I love being a country girl and am very proud of it. I honestly and a little bit city and a little bit country. I have a pick up truck and a Mustang. Best of both worlds. Please be sure to visit before you pass Judgement. As far as the smell, depends on where you are. There are alot of Mills, Poultry Farms, and such...
I'm 17 i'v lived in Alabama all my life it's a Beautiful State most people are really nice there are a few very few bad apple's. A lot of elderly people like to retire here because it's a Beautiful quite Place ! God Bless,Heather

I seriously do not understand what people are talking about i mean yea we have bugs but about the redneck & hillbilly I haven seen any there are some people and even my self who use ain't & arn't ; and words that are not exaculy in the english dictionary; but that's what i love about this place we are relaxed people. Nobody arround here acts like an idiot.
I have got to tell yall this story after Hurricain Katrina. Down were i live there had been a lot of rain and the dich's were full of water and my Dad my Sister and myself went out to look at the damage (we had no damage other than our power was out) and we went down the road from are house and a few teenagers had took a four weeler and tied a rope to it and tied a boogie board to the other end and were water skiing in the ditch it was one of the neatest things i have ever seen.
