Landscaping disputes with neighbor?
What local city government agency/department should I contact to report property/landscaping issues regarding a neighbor? I have been communicating with a neighbor for several months regarding a large, standing, dead tree on his property that spreads debris in my yard and is ready to fall over and cause damage to my home. The owner is not responsive to my neighborly inquiries and concerns. What courses of action should I take?
Just tell him that when the tree falls on your house he will be required to file it with HIS insurance. You may also trim any dead branches on your side of the property line.
