What is the best solution for this landscape?
I have a neighbor that is set higher than my property. I like it to be private and want to block their view. Now, I have two Gianti Oak tree along the fence line. My wood privacy fence is 6 ft tall. Between the two Oaks has a space about 20 feet where the neighbor can see through branches during Summer and bare naked during colder season. I want to plant something in between these two oak tree. It is mostly shaded and gets partial sun. I am in Central Florida. I am thinking of either ONE Elm Tree, or 5 or 6 Viburnums hedge that grow fast. What do you think? And any other adivce please~!!!? Any experienced landscaper ~!??
Don't do the elm. it will have the same effect as the oaks. Plant several bushes along the space. Many bushes can take shade and they will have foliage down most of the trunk, also many are evergreen Holly is a good example, not sure if your place is too shady for it. Also many pines are good also. Google shade loving bushes and decide what would do well in those conditions. Good luck
