I have a large painting on canvas by G. whiTman. Has anyone found any type of price range for his paintings?
It is an oil painting on canvas, beautiful (looks to be original) ornate frame, landscape sceen but different from what others have described. His signature is all caps with the T being largers than the rest of and crosses over the top of most last name. Painted and techgorized. I'm very intrested in auction estimate; am willing to auction off for right price. I've read that he was born in 1860 died in 1939 and was listed as a resident of Carmel, Ca in 1928. Would love to know if there is an appraiser in Orlando, Florida that would give me a fair estimate. It's quite beautiful but will need to be cleaned.
